Luiz Felipe Scolari, admitted his team is optimistic, would win the World Cup Brazil 2014. With jokingly, he declared ready to evacuate to Kuwait if Brazil fails to become a champion.
Brazil became one of the strong candidates for 2014 World Cup winners. In addition to being a host, the Selecao squad was seeded as able to beat Spain 3-0 in the final of the FIFA Confederations Cup 2013.
"If I fail to win the World Cup, I am ready to Kuwait to request political asylum," said Scolari.
"We respect all opponents, but we are ready to win the World Cup," he added.
In the 2014 World Cup, Brazil is in Group A along with Croatia, Mexico and Cameroon. Brazil is a prime game against Mexico, in the Stadium Arena de São Paulo on June 12.
